"Patuloy pa rin ang paglilinis ng ating mga kawani sa Department of Public Services ng ating mga estero pati na rin ang ilang bahagi ng Manila Bay (Our staff at the Department of Public Services are still cleaning our creeks as well as some parts of Manila Bay)," the Manila Public Information Office said.
The 80 sacks or 184.75 kilos of garbage were collected and hauled by DPS Estero Rangers near the Harbor View.
Meanwhile, DPS Team Mandaragat collected 300 sacks or 7,500 kilos of garbage near the Roxas Boulevard.
DPS urged residents to segregate their garbage and throw them in the right containers to avoid clogging the drainages and polluting the Manila Bay.
