Police arrest 2 drug suspects, seize P340,000 'shabu' in Muntinlupa sting

A man and a woman were arrested by the police in a buy-bust operation that yielded P340,000 worth of shabu in Muntinlupa City on Aug. 12.

The Muntinlupa police’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the operation on E. Rodriguez Street, PNR Site in Barangay Tunasan.

Police identified the arrested suspects as Analyn Salimbago, 38, and Lylejon Verona, 45.

Seized during the operation were four plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 50 grams with a total estimated value of P340,000, and P1,000 bill used as buy-bust money.

A complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) will be filed against the two suspects, police said.
