Woman yields P149,000 shabu in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested a woman and 22 grams of suspected shabu worth P149,600 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Vista Alegre here on Tuesday, August 8.

Police identified the suspect as Jeralyn Asumbra, 28, of Barangay Vista Alegre.

Police Capt. Joven Mogato, head of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), said that it was the first time that the suspect was arrested for the offense.

Her mother is in jail for the same offense, Mogato said.

Confiscated from Jeralyn were the P1,000 marked money and P107.

She is a street-level individual, according to the police.
