Visitors to the world-famous Santa Cruz Island in Zamboanga City can now enjoy free Wi-Fi.
The Department of Information and Communications Technology on Wednesday, August 9, put up free Wi-Fi sites in the island under its Free Wi-Fi for All public internet access program.
The free Wi-Fi program was established in collaboration with the city government of Zamboanga and in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the City Environment and Natural Resources Office.
Santa Cruz Island is the latest public area in Zamboanga City enjoying free Wi-Fi.
Other areas in Zamboanga City with free Wi-Fi services are the Zamboanga City Hall and the Paseo del Mar, a park run by the city government.
Wi-Fi sites were also established in some island-barangays in Zamboanga City by the DICT.
