Uy-led Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. has reinforced its partnership with various entities on its target to improve automotive servicing for a wider base of customers.
The oil firm noted that Autoworx Plus MyCasa, which is its partner in automotive servicing, has recently signed a partnership deal with Etiqa Philippines, a provider of insurance products that could help broaden suite of services to their patrons.
“Through the partnership, Etiqa insurance products, such as e-compulsory third party liability car insurance (eCTPL), e-comprehensive insurance, and e-travel insurance, are made available and honored at Autoworx Plus MyCasa service centers,” Phoenix Petroleum said.
The shops of Autoworx Plus MyCasa are located at various service stations of Phoenix Petroleum in Metro Manila, and they primarily offer “quick car care and repair whether at the shop or home” of the vehicle owners as executed by professionally-trained technicians.
According to Jay Mujar, assistant vice president for Consumer Business Partnerships of Phoenix Petroleum, their company is “committed to widening the array of services of Autoworx Plus by partnering with different brands, and bringing them closer to our customers.”
On top of that, he emphasized that their tie-up with MyCasa is intended “for home service car care, and now, we have Etiqa Philippines for insurance products and services.”
Phoenix Petroleum said Autoworx Plus MyCasa stands as Etiqa's “first accredited workshop to adopt the digital process in insurance claims through Merimen, the portal used by insurance providers and workshops for insurance approvals within 24 hours, resulting in faster insurance claims, and transparent updates on vehicles being serviced.”
Etiqa Philippines is a composite insurance company majority-owned by Kuala Lumpur-headquartered Etiqa International Holdings (EIHSB), the investment holding company of Malaysia Banking Berhad (Maybank).
Beyond the specified business synergies, Phoenix Petroleum also cited the partnership of Autoworx Plus MyCasa with Gulong.ph, which is a major online marketplace for tires.
“Through the Gulong.ph online portal, customers can browse and select tires according to their preferred brands and budget instead of checking options by going from one physical store to another,” Phoenix Petroleum stated.
Gulong.ph, in particular, was founded by the Lica Auto Group, which is among the major automotive retail and service firms in the country.
