The 29th NRCE, held from Aug. 10 to 11 at the SMX Convention Center, is themed "Retail Breakthrough," focusing on the exploration of new industry insights and strategies, along with the exhibition of new technologies.

"This year's theme was chosen to reflect this pivotal moment, and the need for retailers to continue embracing the fourth coming wave of discovery to innovate, transform, and to propel the industry forward," said Sam Gregory Lim, chief operating officer of Blims Lifestyle Group and the chairman of this year's NRCE conference.

Moving forward, Lim stressed the need for continous transformation by gathering all stakeholders to discuss breakthroughs in retail strategy, marketing, organizational development, technology, and the legal ecosystem.

"We aim to inspire retailers to explore fresh perspectives and adopt forward thinking approaches to remain competitive and thrive in this ever evolving market," said Lim.
