Based on the sales price, the 43,000 BTS photocard sets are equivalent to a total value of 800 million won (about $608,000), Korean media reported.
"We decided to support 40,000 members from 150 countries who visited Korea so that they could feel and experience K-pop culture up close," a HYBE official said.
Each photocard set contains photos of the seven BTS members (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook). The photocard set is sold at HYBE Insight museum.
While BTS will not perform at the concert, HYBE Labels artists NewJeans and Fromis 9 will appear at the event.
There will be 19 artists performing at the K-pop concert. Besides NewJeans and Fromis 9, other performers are IVE, NCT Dream, ITZY, Mamamoo, The Boyz, Shownu X Hyungwon, ZeroBaseOne, Kang Daniel, Kwon Eun-bi, Jo Yuri, P1Harmony, Kard, The New Six, ATBO, Xikers, Holybang and Libelante.
It will be hosted by Gong Myung, ITZy's Yuna and NewJeans' Hyein.
The BTS photocard sets will be part of the Concert Remember Kit commemorative gift that will be given by Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (MCST).
Each kit will contain K-pop concert cheering light stick, Kakao Friends character merchandise, and BTS photocards placed in a 2023-2024 Visit Korea Year eco-bag.
"The K-Pop Super Live concert will brilliantly mark the culmination of the 2023 Jamboree. The Concert Remember Kit contains items that will evoke memories of the Republic of Korea and K-culture. Along with the Concert Remember Kit, we hope that the Draw Your Dream slogan of this year's Jamboree will resonate with the Scouts for a long time," said MCST Minister Park Bo Gyoon.
The K-pop concert will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. KST. Before the concert, the closing ceremony of the 2023 World Scout Jamboree will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
