Howie Severino takes viewers on a 'Trip to Pasig' this Saturday

Join Howie Severino and I-Witness as they take viewers on a journey to the majestic and historic Pasig River in the documentary “Trip to Pasig,” which airs this Saturday (Aug. 12), 10:15 PM on GMA.

Howie visits the Pasig River – which has been playing an integral part in the lives of Filipinos – to further discover its useful contributions to the city and to assess its current threats.

Viewers are sure to reminisce the olden days when the livelihood of a number of Filipinos was dependent on the historic river, making it a lifeblood of commerce in Metro Manila.

Following the rehabilitations made to the Pasig River, Howie will highlight the proposed elevated expressway which will traverse the entire body of water to connect the cities of Metro Manila and to help ease traffic. He will talk with residents to know their opinions and sentiments regarding the project, and interview the government officials who are behind the major infrastructure.
