Erik Santos announces father's passing

Erik Santos recently made public the death of his dad, Renato Aquino Santos. He was 70.

On Instagram, the singer uploaded a picture of his father.

His caption read: “Our beloved Tatay has now joined our Creator.”

“Mahal na mahal kita, Tay.”

The Kapamilya star also quoted 2 Timothy 4:7-8.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing."

Erik has not disclosed the cause of his father’s passing.

His mother passed away November last year.
