A 36-year-old construction worker, tagged by the Pateros police as the No. 2 most wanted person, was arrested on Aug. 9.
Southern Police District (SPD) chief Brig. Gen. Roderick Mariano identified the arrested person as Ronnie Mabingnay, who was nabbed on P. Rosales Street, Barangay Sta. Ana, Pateros.

The arrest was carried out by a team from the Pateros police’s Warrant and Subpoena Section, and Station Intelligence Section.
Mabingnay was nabbed based on a warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Joy Casihan-Dumalo of the Pasig Regional Trial Court Branch 262 for his violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
He is detained at the Pateros police’s custodial facility.
