Illegal recruiter arrested in Ermita, Manila

The Manila Police District (MPD) arrested an alleged illegal recruiter listed as most wanted person (MWP) in Ermita, Manila on Thursday morning, Aug. 10. 

The MPD-District Special Operations Unit (DSOU) identified the suspect as Leni Salvador, 40, a freelance translator and resident of Barangay 670, District V, Ermita.

Operatives of the DSOU and MPD arrested the suspect on Maria Orosa Street in Barangay 670 at around 11 a.m.

The arrest warrant against her was issued on July 18 by Judge Emma Ines Parajas of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) First Judicial Region, Branch 52, in Tayug, Pangasinan. 

She faces illegal recruitment charges, police said.
