Four drug suspects, two of them female, were arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by members of Pasay police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) on Wednesday, August 9.
Col. Froilan Uy, city police chief, in a report to the Southern Police District (SPD), identified the arrested suspects as Rodolfo Ragansap, alias “Boy”, 54; Fernan Ferrer, 30; Rhea Fortaleza,41; and Victoria Ramos,18. They were all listed in the police drug watch list as street level individual (SLI).
The suspects were arrested at around 8:00 p.m. in a house on Matulungin St., Barangay 181, Zone 19.
Uy said members of SDEU conducted buy-bust operation which led to the arrest of Ragansap who was the subject of complaints in the community allegedly for maintaining a drug den.
During buy-bust operation, Uy said the three other suspects were found inside the house.
The city police chief said confiscated from the suspects were four plastic sachets containing about 3.10 grams of shabu amounting to P21,080; rolled aluminum foil; aluminum strip, red lighter, a yellow rectangular box, and the P500 buy-bust money.
Uy said the confiscated drugs were brought to the SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
He added that the suspects were immediately brought to the SDEU custodial facility after their arrest.
The police filed charges for illegal possession of drugs against the suspects while additional charges for maintaining a drug den was filed against Ragansap.
