Man arrested for stabbing drinking buddy in GMA, Cavite

CAVITE – A man was arrested for allegedly stabbing his drinking buddy in the municipality of General Mariano Alvarez (GMA) Monday night, July 31. The Cavite Police Provincial Office identified the suspect as Ronald A. Velasco. Initial investigation showed that Velasco was on a drinking spree with the victim, Robin Abarillo, when a heated argument ensued between them. Velasco reportedly stabbed Abarillo with a nipper, hitting the victim’s left rib. Abarillo’s wife immediately sought assistance from authorities patrolling the area, leading to the arrest of the suspect. The victim was brought to the hospital for treatment. The suspect is now under the custody of GMA Municipal Police Station. (MANILA BULLETIN)
