A fire hit an apartment in Muntinlupa on Aug. 1, causing about P200,000 worth of damage to property.Â
According to a report by the Muntinlupa City Fire Station, the residential fire started at about 2:22 p.m. at No. 178 Bautista St., Barangay Bayanan.Â

The fire reached the first alarm at 2:24 p.m. before it was put under control at 3:03 p.m. and put out at 3:23 p.m. The property hit by the fire was a two-story, nine-door apartment owned by Deborah Sangil. Occupants were identified by the fire station as Kevin and Jessa Montemayor. No one was injured in the fire, which affected nine families or 30 individuals. The fire station is conducting investigation to determine the origin and cause of the blaze. A total of 11 fire trucks and two ambulances responded to the scene.Â
