24 wanted persons nabbed in Cordillera

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Twenty-four wanted persons were arrested in manhunt operations in the Cordillera from July 23 to 29. The Police Regional Office-Cordillera Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD) said the Baguio City Police Office nabbed 10 wanted persons, followed by the Benguet Police Provincial Office with four, Kalinga PPO and Mountain Province PPO with three each, and Abra PPO and Ifugao PPO, with two each. Four individuals were listed as Most Wanted Persons (MWP), two on the provincial and two on the city levels. PRO-Cordillera said 68 municipalities in the region and six police stations in Baguio recorded zero crime incidents during the week due to intensified police presence. There were no crimes in 26 out of 27 municipalities in Abra, six out of seven in Apayao, 10 out of 13 in Benguet, five out of seven in Kalinga, the 11 municipalities in Ifugao, and the 10 towns in Mountain Province. Police Stations 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9 logged no crime incidents out of the 10 police stations in Baguio.
