Pasay LGU to start administering Covid-19 bivalent vaccines to health center frontliners
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the City Health Office (CHO) will start administering Covid-19 bivalent vaccines to health workers in the city’s health centers starting July 12 to 14.
Rubiano said individuals belonging to the A1 category (medical practitioners) from both public and private health facilities may receive their bivalent vaccine shots in the city’s health centers from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
She reminded the public to bring their vaccination card during their scheduled vaccination appointment.
Eligible persons for the bivalent vaccine must have received their second booster shot four months prior to their bivalent vaccine schedule.
The mayor said the CHO started to administer bivalent vaccines to doctors and nurses including it’s employees at four hospitals in the city namely Pasay City General Hospital, Adventist Medical Center Manila, San Juan De Dios Hospital and Airforce General Hospital.
She said the CHO continues to administer the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine at the health centers to children aged five to 11 years old.
The mayor added that the CHO also administers Sinovac, the only vaccine available for second dose of those aged 12 years old and above.
