Lotto outlet in Manila yields new millionaire


A bettor from Manila won the P7,656,441.80 Lotto 6/42 jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) draw on Saturday, July 8.

PCSO said the lucky winner bought the ticket in Tondo, Manila, with the winning digit combination of 03-28-12-26-08-21.

Meanwhile, PCSO said that since the jackpot prize exceeded P10,000, it will be subject to a 20 percent tax deduction under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law.

It also noted that if the prize remains unclaimed within one year, it will be forfeited to the PCSO Charity Fund under Republic Act 1169 or the PCSO Charter.

The next Lotto 6/42 draw will be on July 11, along with the Ultra Lotto 6/58, Super Lotto 6/49, and other digit games such as 2D, 3D, and 6D Lotto. (Sonny Daanoy)
