The Filipina racer had a remarkable race weekend for PREMA Racing at the Italian countryside track after also finishing second in Race 2 a day prior.

Bustamante is currently No. 7 in the drivers’ standings with 102 points, while her Spanish teammate Marta García continues to lead the grid.

The Filipina driver started in P9 in the first two races and went on to line up in the front row for Race 3 after clocking the second fastest lap in Qualifying 2.

It was an all PREMA Racing Round 5 winner at Monza as Garcìa went on to clinch the victory in Race 1 before her Swiss teammate Léna Bühler, likewise, took the chekered flag in Race 2.

The Filipina teen, who did not finish in Race 1 after getting hit from the rear which ended up with her retiring the car, bounced back in convincing fashion with her best race weekend yet under the Italian team.

It was Bustamante’s fourth overall podium finish in the all-female single-seater competition.

The 18-year-old scored her first points in F1 Academy in the season opener at the Red Bull Ring in Austria before claiming her lights-to-flag maiden victory in Valencia, Spain in May.

Bustamante will head to Le Castellet in France to wrap up the double-header on July 29 to 30 before taking a three-month break for the race finale in Austin, Texas in October.
