Drug suspect yields P80K 'shabu,' firearm in Tanza, Cavite
CAVITE – Authorities collared a drug suspect in a sting operation in Tanza on Sunday, July 9.
The Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the suspect as Manuel Tanoy, 28 years old.
Seized during the buy-bust operation were more or less 12 grams of suspected “shabu” with an estimated street value of P82,552.
Authorities also confiscated a cal .38 revolver and ammunition from the suspect.

Tanoy is now under the custody of Tanza Municipal Police Station and is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act. The pieces of evidence, on the other hand, were turned over to the Provincial Forensic Unit for examination.
