Around 430 residents benefited from the Manila Police District's (MPD) free medical and dental mission in Tondo, Manila on Saturday, July 8.
The medical and dental missions were conducted by MPD together with Donate Philippines, in line with the celebration of the 28th Police Community Relations Month.
Donate Philippines is a community that seeks to “spread the gospel, feed the poor, educate the uneducated, and acquire birth certificates for kids who never went to school to give them privilege to study.”
The event was held in Barangay 128 covered court at Paradise Heights Permanent Housing in Tondo.
Revitalized-Pulis Sa Barangay (R-PSB) said 195 residents benefited from the dental mission, while 235 residents from the medical mission.
R-PSB said the beneficiaries also received vitamins and food packs.
MPD District Director Brigadier Gen. Andre Dizon, and The Director for Police Community Relations (TDPCR) Maj. Gen. Edgar Allan Okubo led the event.
The Chairwoman and President of Donate Philippines Myrna Reyes; MPD Raxabago Police Station (PS-1) Commander Lt. Col. Wilfredo Lazarito; and R-PSB Focal Person NCRPO Maj. Rowena Jacosalem were also present at the event.
