300 bamboo seedlings planted in Bulacan tree-planting activity
To support the national government's program to combat climate change, around 300 Bamboo seedlings were planted in a tree-planting activity along the riverside of Barangays San Pedro, Talampas and Cambaog in the province of Bulacan on Saturday, July 8.

The tree planting activity was led by the Rotary Club of Bustos Dakila (RCBD) District 3770 headed by its president Rosario "Osie" Portugal.
Engineer Glecy Perez, Rotarian members, Rowena Almocera, Bulacan province's Mrs. Face of Eco-Tourism 2023; and former actress Alma Soriano were also among the program's participants.
The activity themed "Create Hope in the World: He who plants a tree, plants a HOPE," was one of the town's eco tourism projects aimed at addressing the impacts of climate change in the province.
RCBD President Portugal said the Bamboo seedlings planted along the riverside of San Pedro, Talampas, and Cambaog villages could be sources of food and livelihood for Bustoseneous in the future.
"Hindi dito magtatapos ang ganitong aktibidad, bagkus magpapatuloy ang Rotary Club ng Bustos sa iba't-ibang aktibidad para sa kapakanan ng bayan at mamamayan," (This kind of activity will not end here. The Rotary Club of Bustos will continue to do diffirent activities for the benefit of the community and citizens)," Portugal added.
The Bamboo planting activity was held safely and peacefully with the cooperation of the village captains and watchers; Pilipino Advocates for Change in Community (PACC) vloggers Tikyo Dino, Regional Director Jose Eric Perez, PACC Municipal Chairman Joey Dupaya Oliva, and Rodelio Sauco.
