Jinhwan said, “I will be enlisting in the military on July 20.” The location and time will not be disclosed as he wants to enlist quietly.

“There are so many things that I have prepared and so many things I haven't shown you yet. It's a pity, but I'll save my long words because I know that our fans who have been waiting for me will be more sorry than I am,” he said.

“I will serve diligently and return soon, so please think of each other and do your best. Thank you for always supporting me and I love you!,” Jinhwan added.

Born in 1994, Jinhwan is 29 years old. He will be the first member of iKON to enlist in the military, a mandatory duty for all Korean men.

He released his first solo album “Paradise” last June 21. Part 2 of the album titled “Blue Moon” will be released on July 18.

Jinhwan will still take part in the 2023 iKON world tour “Take Off” in Osaka, Japan slated on July 8 and 9.

iKON will hold the concert in Manila on Aug. 5 at Araneta Coliseum.
