CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Seventy-nine Police Regional Office-13 personnel are undergoing a 60-day Intelligence Basic Course (IBC) training in a hotel here starting Friday, July 7.
PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Pablo G. Labra II, guest of honor and speaker, opened the event.
Also present during the opening were the Intelligence Training Group (ITG) led by Police Col. Arturo P. Brual and the Regional Intelligence Division-13.
Labra said 50 Police-Commissioned Officers (PCOs) and 29 Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCO) are being trained.
He challenged participants to embrace the opportunity, saying that the knowledge they gain will be the bedrock of their future endeavors in intelligence operations.
“To aspiring PNP personnel, this is not only for your self-improvement or career advancement but also for the people who expect us to deliver the highest quality of service,” Labra said.
“Take this training seriously to stay one step ahead of those who seek to disrupt peace and security,” Labra added.
IBC aims to provide PNP personnel with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values necessary to conduct intelligence and counter-intelligence operations.
