CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Fifty Police Regional Office-13 lawmen successfully completed a Basic Logistics Course on Friday, July 7.
PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Pablo G. Labra II, guest of honor and speaker, declared the participants graduates of the 208-hour course that started on May 29.
Top performing participants and groups were recognized for their performance.
Police Senior Master Sgt. Ryan G. Dilla from the Regional Special Training Unit-13 received an Academic Excellence Award for being Top 1; Police Master Sgt. John Brian A. Sitones from the Regional Headquarters was Top 2, and Police Staff Sgt. Melchor L. Bande Jr. from the Dinagat Islands Police Provincial Office was Top 3.
The BLC Group 3 headed by Police Senior Master Sgt. Zeny G. Canino was adjudged Best in Inventory Report.
The course is offered to personnel assigned to logistics units and sections in police units in the region and national support units to capacitate them with the knowledge and skills in managing Philippine National Police assets and resources.
“When we approach policing logistically, it maps the efficiency and effectiveness of our plans and programs,” Labra said in his message.
“In an interconnected world where criminal activities transcend geographical boundaries, it is imperative to have a robust logistics framework with trained personnel in all police units.”
