347 new Covid-19 cases recorded on July 8

The Department of Health (DOH) recorded 347 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, July 8. The total nationwide tally is now at 4,167,606. DOH said that the number of active cases is now 6,553, with 431 new recoveries. Meanwhile, the death toll remains at 66,484 for the 10th straight day. According to the health department's report, Metro Manila produced the highest number of new cases in the last two weeks with 1,142 cases, followed by Central Luzon with 783 cases, and Calabarzon with 652. DOH said that 4,131 Covid-19 beds are occupied while 20,178 remain available.
