NAOS Esports sealed its spot in the semifinals in the Valorant Championship Tour: Ascension Pacific playoffs in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Filipino squad are composed of Noel "NDG" De Guia, Jerome "Mojer" Literal, Johnty "JA" Arone, Deko "PapiChulo" Evangelista, Riley "witz" Go and the newest member Carl "SenyorCarL" Carandang and tacticians Derren "Aimix" Dela Cruz and Lowell "Ell" Mercado secured the top spot in the Alpha group with a 3-1 record NAOS started its great run, first taking down Fancy United of Vietnam, 2-1, on opening day. The team, though yielded to XERXIA, 2-1, in its next match but bounced back with much-needed victories over BOOM Esports, 2-1, and ONE Team, 2-0, to close out their group stage assignments. With the win streak, the Filipinos managed to avoid logjam in the standings and take the pole against BOOM Esports (2-2) and Fancy United (2-2) which both advanced to the quarterfinals after finishing second and third respectively Meanwhile, in the Omega group, Bleed eSports went straight for the semis after also topping the group stage while Scarz and Bonkers finished second and third respectively. NAOS and Bleed now awaits their opponents in the semis with the former facing the victor in the clash between Scarz and Fancy United while the latter take on the winner between Bonkers and Boom Esports. Should Naos win it all the way, it will have the chance to qualify and join Team Secret in the Pacific League. As it stands, NAOS is already assured of $10,000 of winning and can still go up to $20,000 if the Filipinos went on to rule the tournament.
