ACT-CIS Party-list nominee Erwin Tulfo is happy to know that overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Geneva, Switzerland are doing quite well. Tulfo recently learned first hand from a group of OFWs in Geneva that they neither had any problems with their work nor their employers "Salamat po sa pagpapa-selfie at kwentuhan kahapon (Thanks for having selifies with me and exchanging stories yesterday)," the incoming congressman said in a Facebook post, referring to the OFWs. "Nakakatuwang marinig na wala kayong problema dito at maayos ang trato sa inyo ng inyong mga employer at karamihan sa inyo ay permanent resident na pala ng Switzerland (I'm happy to hear that you don't have any problems here and that your employers are treating you well and also, most of you are already permanent residents of Switzerland)," Tulfo said. "Pero wag di kalimutan na may mga kamag-anak at mga kaibigan na sabik na kayong makita sa atin (But don't forget that back home in our country, you have relatives and friends who are eager to see you)," noted the popular broadcaster.

Aside from Geneva, Tulfo also visited Les Avants village in the Central European nation. However, he didn't run into any Filipinos there. "Sayang waka akong nakita na Pinoy kasi baka nasa bayan, nagsisimba o namamasyal (Too bad I didn't see any Filipinos, maybe they're in the city, hearing mass or having a stroll)," he wrote in a subsequent post. Tulfo is a former Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) secretary.
