Chery Auto adds Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid to lineup

With the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro PHEV already on offer, Chery Auto wants to expand the options for Filipinos seeking more green mobility alternatives. Its latest offering, the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid, serves as an alternative offering for motorists who want to drive towards an eco-friendly future. The Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid features mild hybrid technology, using a 48V belt starter generator system mated with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and a nine-speed CVT. The Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid’s power is rated at 156 horsepower with 230 Nm of torque.
The mild hybrid technology helps give an efficient boost to the conventional combustion engine, enhance fuel efficiency, and reduce emissions. It also provides a boost to the engine, reducing tis work in acceleration. The addition of mild hybrid technology allows the vehicle to have various electric vehicle functions. These include a Start & Stop function wherein the system shuts off the engine when engine power is not needed, like during traffic or waiting. Energy Recovery is another function where system regenerates energy during coasting or braking. The kinetic energy generated will then be converted and stored as electrical energy in the batteries.
The Tiggo 7 Pro also features a multi-color ambient lighting, six SRS airbags, panoramic sunroof, power tailgate, wireless mobile charging, 360-degree around view monitor, and 12.3” LCD instrument cluster. Priced at P1.350-M, Chery Auto hopes to make these game-changing mobility solutions accessible to all.

And we are doing it by offering a mild hybrid vehicle at a very practical price,” United Asia Automotive Group Inc.
