A warehouse of a company manufacturing moulded foam products in Taguig was razed by a fire on Tuesday night, July 4.Â
The Taguig City Fire Station said the fire hit the warehouse, measuring about 1,500 sq. m., of Mega Packaging Corp. at about 11:33 p.m. located on Arturo Drive in Barangay Bagumbayan.Â

Firefighters raised the first alarm at 11:45 p.m. and went up to the second alarm at 12:03 a.m. It was put under control at 1:44 a.m. before it was put out at 2:15 a.m. Investigators said the fire originated from the back portion of the building and damaged P12 million worth of properties. The cause of the fire is under investigation. A total of 30 fire trucks including 10 from the Bureau of Fire Protection and two ambulances responded to the scene.Â
