President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has appointed Emmanuel Ledesma Jr. as the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) president and chief executive officer.

This was announced by the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) on Wednesday, July 5. The President designated Romeo Allan Rosales as Customs Collector VI at the Bureau of Customs, Reinalyne Varias as Director III at the Department of Justice-Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Colonel Jose Jesus Luntok as Commander, Light Reaction Regiment, at the Armed Forces of the Philippines-Philippine Army. Other appointees include Mathias Malenab as Director III at the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Bonifacio Pajuelas as Director III at the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Khay Ann Magundayao-Borlado as Deputy Executive Director at the Department of Interior and Local Government-Philippine Commission on Women, and David Erro as member representing the Agrarian Beneficiaries at the Land Bank of the Philippines' Board of Directors.
