Man yields P2.1-M shabu in Malabon City

The Malabon City Police Station (MCPS) seized over P2.1 million worth of alleged shabu and arrested a man in a buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Potrero, Malabon City on Monday, Tuesday, July 4. Col. Amante Daro, MCPS chief, identified the suspect as Edward Rosario, 36, an auto mechanic from Barangay 74, Caloocan City. MCPS Station Drug Enforcement Operatives launched a buy-bust operation against Rosario along Duhat Street in Barangay Potrero at around 9:25 p.m. on Tuesday. Seized from Rosario were six plastic sachets of suspected shabu worth P2,158,456, the buy-bust money, and a pouch. Rosario will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, police said.
