Ex-drug offender back in jail after being caught with illegal drugs in Bacolod buy-bust
BACOLOD CITY – An elderly woman was sent back to jail after she was caught in possession of 26 grams of shabu worth P176,800 during a buy-bust in Barangay Handumanan here on Wednesday, July 5.

Police recovered from her the marked P1,000 bills used by the police in the transaction and P220. Police Capt. Joven Mogato, CDEU head, said the illegal drugs reportedly came from outside the region. Mogato said the suspect is a high-value individual and included in the target list of drug personalities in Western Visayas. He said that Delfin was also arrested in 2017 for a drug offense but was released two years later after she availed of plea bargaining. Mogato said the suspect was included in the regional target list as she was being monitored by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the police.
