Drug pusher dies of heart attack after arrest in Quezon

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – A drug pusher died of cardiac arrest after he was apprehended in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 5 here on Monday, July 3. Police identified the suspect as “Jerry,” of Barangay 5 and a street-level individual. Jerry was nabbed after he sold suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer. The suspect resisted arrest and slumped on the ground. He was taken to the hospital and was declared dead on arrival at 7:45 p.m. The attending doctor said the suspect suffered cardiac arrest.
