Hon. Luis "Chavit" Singson, along with the LCS Entertainment Group and its South Korean counterpart, LCS Group Korea, has revealed an exciting endeavor. Their objective is to embark on an extraordinary adventure, aiming to discover exceptional Filipino talent and unveil the next sensational all-female pop group that will mesmerize South Korea.

It can be recalled that last year, an all-male pop group search premiered in a TV program called “DreamMaker” shown on The Kapamilya Channel and A2Z from Nov. 19, 2022, to Feb. 12, 2023.

This was a collaboration between ABS-CBN group and a Korean talent management agency which is a partner of LCS Group Korea. The reality show was a total success, thus the group Hori7on which is composed of the top seven winners was formed.

Chavit praised the all-male group for their performance.

"Magagaling sila. Nakita ko na silang magperform. First time kong nakita sila noon at akala ko mga Korean sila. Mga Pinoy performer pala. Magagaling sila. Twelve hours a day sila kung mag-practice," said Chavit at the opening of bb.q Chicken at Robinson's Magnolia in Quezon City recently. "Naghahanap din tayo na pang-tapat sa BLACKPINK at BTS."

(They are good. I have seen them perform. It was the first time I saw them and I thought they were Koreans. They are Pinoy performers. They are good. They practice 12 hours a day. We are also looking for talents who will rival BLACKPINK and BTS.)

Their pre-debut single Dash, which was released last March accompanied by a music video, was an instant hit amassing 1.7 million views on YouTube within 48 hours.

Hori7on

Right now, the group is training rigorously in South Korea and will debut this month. They are mentored by established Korean idols while adapting to the K-pop culture when it comes to discipline in honing their talents and skills.

The LCS Entertainment Group is excited to form another group which will be an all-female group this time. LCS vows to make this group as successful as its male counterpart.

Just like many talent agencies, the LCS Entertainment group believes that Filipinos are talented and with loads of potential. With much needed support, they can compete with the best and be recognized globally. It also looks like that Pinoy-pop can be the next global phenomenon.

The LCS Entertainment Group will start the auditions for Filipino female contestants ages 13-22 years old who can sing, dance or rap starting this coming November so stay tuned for further details as more announcements will follow.

The LCS Group is committed to make dreams come true for the chosen aspiring female talents who will have their debut in South Korea. This is a chance of a lifetime to break into the international pop scene for the lucky chosen aspirants.

New venture

Genesis BBQ Group, along with Chavit and his LCS Group, joined forces with his daughter Richelle Singson-Michael to introduce the delectable crispy chicken delight in Manila.

Chavit also revealed plans of making the Philippines bb.q Chicken’s main home in Southeast Asia. With over 3,500 branches worldwide, more branches are coming to the Philippines in the next few months.

The popular South Korean food chain, bb.q Chicken, opened their second restaurant in Robinsons Magnolia in Quezon City and many have already experienced the unique taste which was developed by Genesis BBQ’s Chicken University.

The “bb.q” stands for “Best of the Best Quality”, a result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from their very own Chicken University. The team at bb.q established Chicken University in Seoul back in 1995.

The chicken is cooked in the traditional method. Hand-brushed, hand-battered, and fried at lower temperatures for longer periods of time. This process creates and coates the chicken with a crispy texture. bb.q’s signature sauces are also offered to provide an experience of enjoying fried chicken like you’ve never tried before.

Favorites on the menu are the hot spicy, secret chicken, Gangnam-style and the Cheesling chicken. The restaurant also offers a tteokbokki platter, salads and tasty desserts.
