2 hurt in Valenzuela fire

Two persons were hurt in a fire that gutted a residential area along Abalos Bukid, Barangay Gen. T. De Leon, Valenzuela City early Wednesday morning, July 5. According to the Bureau of Fire Protection, the fire was raised to the first alarm at around 3:46 a.m. It quickly escalated to second alarm at around 3:52 a.m. and then to the third alarm at 3:56 a.m. Firefighters were able to put the fire under control at 4:23 a.m. It was extinguished at around 4:55 a.m. Arson probers have yet to determine the  number of families affected, houses that were totally and partially damaged, and  the estimated damage to property caused by the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
