59-year-old convicted drug pusher arrested anew in Albuera buy-bust

TACLOBAN CITY - A 59-year-old convicted drug pusher was arrested anew during a buy-bust operation for possessing over P544,000 worth of illegal drugs on Monday, July 3, in Albuera, Leyte. The suspect was identified as Diomedes Sepe alias ‘Eti,’ a resident of Sitio Planas Brgy. Damulaan of said town. At least 44 sachets of different sizes containing an aggregate weight of more or less 80 grams of shabu were seized from the suspect during the buy-bust operation. The suspect was turned over to the Albuera Municipal Police Station for temporary detention while the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Region 8 Forensic Unit. He will be charged for violations of Sections 5 and 11 (possession and sale) of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Sepe was first arrested in a buy-bust in September 2015 and was only released in July last year.
