Paolo Contis hurt with 'EB' being called 'Fake Bulaga,' Tito Sotto reacts

"Tape inc has absolutely no right to celebrate 44 years. They existed only in 1981. They did not exist in 1979. EB ceased to be EB when TVJ left them." This is what Tito Sotto posted on X recently after Television and Production Exponents, Inc. (TAPE, Inc.) marked the show's 44th anniversary over the weekend. Tito also reposted "Eat Bulaga!" host Paolo Contis' statement about them being called "Fake Bulaga." Paolo said, "Marami pong nagsasabing kami ay fake. Maraming nagsasabing kami'y 'Fake Bulaga.' Wala pong peke sa pagmamahal ko sa grupong ito. Wala pong peke sa pagmamahal ko sa staff. Wala pong peke sa pagmamahal ko sa crew. Wala pong peke sa pagmamahal ko sa trabahong ito. Kaya masakit po sa akin kapag tinatawag niyo kaming 'Fake Bulaga' dahil wala pong fake sa ginagawa namin, sa ngiti na nakikita namin sa mga tao..." Tito wrote, "Then why not think of a new name?"
