MTRCB summons 'It's Showtime' producers over alleged indecent acts performed by Vice Ganda, Ion Perez

Producers of the noontime variety show “It’s Showtime” was summoned by The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) over complaints concerning alleged indecent acts performed by hosts Vice Ganda and Ion Perez. In a memorandum, the MTRCB said the scene, which happened during the variety show’s “Isip Bata” segment that aired last July 25, is a violation of Section 3 (c) Presidential Decree No. 1986.  A quick look at the said scene via YouTube showed Ion offering cake icing to Vice using his finger in front of several children. The hearing date is scheduled today, July 31. ABS-CBN and "It's Showtime" is still silent on the issue.
