LTO to deploy 'mystery applicants' to spy on services in all its offices
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has deployed what it desctibes as “mystery applicants” in various parts of the country to observe and identify loopholes in all the transactiuns in the agency.
LTO chief Vigor Mendoza II said the move is aimed ay coming up witgh measures to further improve the services of the agency in terms of application and renewal of driver’s license and motor vehicle registration.
In this way, he said the LTO will identify the problem and come up with measures to make the transactions in the agency faster and more convenient for the Filipino people.
“These mystery applicants will personally report to my office their observations in all the LTO offices like how fast or slow the transactions were completed, the convenience and inconvenience they experienced,” said Mendoza.
“This measure will give us the real picture of what is happening on the ground, especially on the aspect of delivering services to our kababayan,” he added.
Mendoza said he would also initiate meetings with various transport groups and stakeholders and discussed proposals on how to further improve the LTO services across the country.
