Woman stabs live-in partner in Zamboanga City

ZAMBOANGA CITY â€“ A woman allegedly stabbed her live-in partner during a fierce argument in Barangay Pasonanca, Zamboanga City on Saturday, July 29. Police Major Shellamie Chang, Police Regional Office-9 information officer, identified the victim as Junnie Vicente de Leon, 31. Investigation disclosed that the suspect, Gina Flores Lorenzo, 40, stabbed De Leon in the chest with a knife. The victim was taken to the Zamboanga City Medical Center for treatment. Lorenzo was arrested and is now under the custody of the Zamboanga Police Station 7.
