Upson expands Acer store network nationwide

Upson International Corporation (UPSON), the country’s largest retailer of personal computers (PCs) and information technology (IT) products, is opening six new Acer concept stores beginning July 2023. In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the firm said the new locations span from 20 to 105 square meters, providing a convenient one-stop-shop experience for customers to browse a diverse range of Acer products, all under one roof.
From desktops and laptops, monitors and projectors to gaming gear and air purifier, shoppers can expect a wide variety of authentic and high-quality Acer merchandise. “The addition of these dedicated Acer stores further demonstrates our commitment to providing customers with expanded product assortment and an interactive shopping experience that is difficult to replicate online,” Upson CEO Arlene Sy said. “Upson’s ability to adapt and innovate has been key to its continued growth and success in a constantly evolving retail landscape,” said Acer Philippines General Manager Sue Ong-Lim. Sue added that, “our collaboration with Upson aligns well with our vision and priorities, and the customer response has been incredible. We are excited for what’s to come.” The new Acer concept store will be located in Glorietta, Makati City; KCC Mall, General Santos City; SM Center, Ormoc City; Opus Mall, Quezon City; SM Molino, Bacoor City; and Market Market, Taguig City. With only Acer products on display, these concept stores carry the brand’s full collection of PCs, monitors, and other devices. Since 2021, Upson has successfully launched and operated Acer concept stores in five locations: Trinoma Quezon City, Limketkai Cagayan de Oro, Gaisano Mall of Davao, Robinsons Place Isabela, and SM Urdaneta.
