Man drowns in Himamaylan City

BACOLOD CITY â€“ A man drowned in the sea in Barangay Aguisan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental on Saturday, July 29. Police identified the victim as Joven Buenaflor, 25, of Barangay Aguisan. The victim and his friends went fishing and he decided to swim. After a while, his friends heard him shouting for help as he was suffering from cramps while swimming. One of them tried to save him but due to the strong waves, he was unable to rescue him. Buenaflor was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.
