Eat Bulaga's newest hosts celebrate the show's 44th anniversary (Facebook/TAPE Inc.)

With the rollercoaster of events on the noontime show Eat Bulaga!, celebrating its 44th anniversary brings a new beginning for the hosts and its audience.

During their live celebration on July 29, the popular noontime program unveiled its new theme song, which they described as "akma sa bagong panahon."

Prior to revealing the new theme song, Paolo Contis conveyed a message emphasizing the show's dedication to providing happiness and optimism to its viewers.

"July 29 mahalaga po ang araw na ito sa ‘Eat Bulaga.’ 44 years ago sinimulan ng ‘Eat Bulaga’ ang pagbibigay ng saya. Lumipas man po ang panahon sa kahit anong pagkakataon, magkakaiba man po ang mga artistang humaharap sa inyo araw-araw ang hindi po magbabago ay ang hangarin ng ‘Eat Bulaga’ na magbigay ng saya at magbahagi ng pag-asa," Paolo said.

Former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno expressed his gratitude towards the audience for their warm support and welcomed them as the latest hosts of the show.

"Mga Kapuso, nung nagsisimula po kami bilang bagong host, ang ipinangako namin sa inyo, na kayo ang dahilan kung bakit kami nandito. Sabi nga namin, its not always about the about the hosts, it’s always about the viewers. Kayo sa studio, kayong mga manonood sa kani-kanilang tahanan na lagi ninyo kami isinasama sa inyong tanghalian, napakaraming salamat po sa inyong lahat," he said.

(Kapuso, when we started as a new host, we promised you that you are the reason why we are here. As we said, it's not always about the hosts; it's always about the viewers. To all the people in the studio, and the families in their homes, who's always with us every noontime, thank you all so much)

As the show continued, a video flashed on the screen where Paolo and the other hosts sang the newest theme song. It includes the lyrics of "Tahanang pinakamasaya, Eat Bulaga! Dahil kayo ay nandyan, hatid namin ang tulong at saya. Kayong lahat ang dahilan kaya kasama pa rin ang Eat Bulaga."

Aside from the newest theme song, the show also added a tagline that says "EB Happy."
