CONFIRMED: Toyota is bringing in the all-new Yaris Cross

The surprises continue from leading mobility company, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP). It has just confirmed the upcoming introduction of another new nameplate to enter the local market: the all-new Yaris Cross. Toyota is offering a Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) variant of this new crossover SUV, in line with its goal of constantly expanding electrified vehicle options for Filipino customers. TMP is ready for its “best-packaged electrified vehicle yet” — the all-new Yaris Cross. The new small crossover is expected to make electrified vehicle adoption more practical and accessible to customers who are searching for a more sustainable mobility option that’s fit for their needs, passions, and lifestyle. “We believe that the upcoming introduction of the all-new Yaris Cross will further boost the current evolving era of electrified mobility in the Philippines,” said Danny Cruz, TMP First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations. “The HEV variant of the all-new Yaris Cross is further strengthening our widest lineup of electrified vehicles, and giving our customers an easier route to shift to high quality and reliable electrified mobility technology.” The expansion of its electrified vehicle offerings is part of TMP’s “multiple pathway approach” to help achieve carbon neutrality in the mobility sector. The all-new Yaris Cross will have its public debut on August 4, 2023 at the Amphitheater of Bonifacio High Street at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. The event is open to everyone who wants to experience TMP’s wide variety of HEVs, including but not limited to Camry, Corolla Altis, Corolla Cross, RAV4 and the recently launched Zenix HEV. The vehicle will also be unveiled in all dealerships nationwide on this date. The all-new Yaris Cross price starts at P1,199,000.00 for the G gas variant while they Hybrid variant starts at P1,598,000.00.
