BACOLOD CITY – A woman died while her brother-in-law was injured after they were electrocuted in a public transport terminal in Barangay Suba, Calatrava, Negros Occidental on Sunday, July 2.
A WOMAN was electrocuted after she accidentally touched a steel post with a live wire in a public terminal in Barangay Suba, Calatrava, Negros Occidental on Sunday, July 2. The injured was identified as Alven Calago, 28, of Barangay Lemery. Police said the victims were walking to hire a motorcycle when Constancio accidentally touched a steel post with a live wire. She was electrocuted and her brother-in-law tried to save her but he was also electrocuted. Constancio was declared dead at the Calatrava Municipal Hospital while Calago sustained minor injuries in his left palm.
