Las Piñas City Vice Mayor April Aguilar commended the members and officers of the Philippine Dental Association Las Piñas chapter for their unwavering dedication, describing their profession as a noble calling. Aguilar praised the group during their 34th annual induction ceremonies and first scientific seminar held at the Acacia Hotle Manila in Muntinlupa on June 29. The vice mayor, who was the key note speaker during the induction and seminar of dental practitioners, highlighted the significant role they play in restoring smiles and enhancing the overall well-being of individuals. Aguilar also took the opportunity to thank the group on their dental flagship project in the city known as the "Libreng Pustiso (free dentures)". She said the group offered free dentures to qualified beneficiaries to allow individuals to regain their confidence and improve their quality of life. The vice mayor said the program has made a significant impact on the lives of many residents, and its success was celebrated during the ceremony. Another notable project recognized by Aguilar was the city's Dental Bus, which provides accessible dental services across all barangays. Aguilar said the mobile unit ensures that individuals in previously inaccessible areas of the community have access to vital services such as free dental checkups, extractions, and prophylaxis. She also praised the dental workforce for their commitment to reaching every corner of Las Piñas City and making a positive difference in the lives of its residents.
