'King the Land' stars Junho, Yoona deny they are in romantic relationship

K-pop idols Lee Junho of 2PM and Yoona of Girls’ Generation, stars of the drama “King the Land,” denied they are in a romantic relationship. On July 3, a Korean media outlet raised the dating rumors between the two stars. It even quoted an entertainment official who said Junho and Yoona developed into lovers before filming “King the Land” and that was the reason they decided to work together in the series.

Junho and Yoona, both born in 1990, are 33 years old. Yoona debuted in Girls’ Generation in 2007 while Junyo made his debut in 2PM in 2008. The promotions for “King the Land” showed the two having a close relationship. In response to the report, their agencies issued statements to deny that they are in a romantic relationship. “The two are close friends, but the dating rumors are unfounded after confirmation,” JYP Entertainment, Junho’s agency, told Korean media.
