K-drama 'King the Land' surges in ratings for episode 6

The nationwide rating for the K-drama “King the Land” surged past the 10-percent mark in South Korea as it gained popularity among viewers.  The classic romantic comedy, starring Lee Junho and Yoona, aired its episodes 5 and 6 on July 1 and 2, respectively.  Yoona and Junho in "King the Land" (JTBC)
According to polling firm Nielsen Korea, the rating episode 6 of “King the Land” on July 2 surged to 12.017 percent nationwide in South Korea, the first time that the drama scored a double-digit nationwide rating.  This is higher by 2.345 percentage points compared to 9.672 percent nationwide rating for episode 5.  It  secured the No. 1 spot again among shows on comprehensive programming channels in South Korea. It was watched by 2.9 million people nationwide in South Korea.  In the metropolitan area (Gyeonggi, Incheon and Seoul), episode 6 of “King the Land” garnered a rating of 12.607 percent, higher compared to 10.59 percent in the metropolitan area for episode 5. It was watched by 1.42 million people in the metropolitan area.  “King the Land” is aired on JTBC in South Korea and on Netflix in other countries and regions.  Here are the ratings for “King the Land” in South Korea based on Nielsen Korea data:
