Meanwhile, new civil engineers will take their oath in General Santos on July 7. Since the mass oathtaking will be face-to-face, oath takers are asked to bring either a vaccination card, negative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), or antigen Covid-19 test results taken 48 hours before the ceremony. Civil engineer inductees are required to wear Barong Tagalog and Filipiniana. Moreover, attendees should bring their “oath forms” with the generated quick response (QR) code to be submitted during the event to confirm attendance. For passers who are unable to attend the in-person mass oathtaking, PRC said they may attend the online ceremony or request a special appointment. The online ceremony will be announced once the schedule has been confirmed. After the oathtaking ceremony, new civil engineer inductees may proceed to their initial registration by booking an appointment at its website starting on July 10. Meanwhile, the CPAs may start securing their appointment right after the ceremony. (Sonny Daanoy)
