'Distressed' Mayon evacuee has funny request for Cong Cabredo

A certain male evacuee in Albay felt he had such a huge predicament in his hands that he had to run to Albay 3rd district Rep. Fernando Cabredo for help. The evacuee was essentially having "marital problems" due to his family's unfortunate placement at the local evacuation center. Cabredo shared on Facebook this supposed plea from the distressed evacuee on Sunday night, July 3, drawing laughs from netizens in the process. "Good evening Cong Didi, Pwede tabi ipalipat kami nin kwarto idi sa evac center. Kadurog kaya namo so EX ko. Pirmi nagaselos si mrs," read the plea in Bicolano from the unknown evacuee. It turns out that the man wanted to be relocated to another room, since their current room was near where his "ex" was staying. As it is, he told the congressman that his wife was "always getting jealous". (Rep. Cabredo's Facebook)


Thousands of Albay residents have been forced to live in evacuation centers for the past few weeks due to the continued restiveness of Mayon Volcano. If Cabredo managed to grant the man's request then the latter now only has to worry about a possible violent eruption from Mayon, and not from his wife.
